What is Kentico?
Kentico (now Kentico Xperience) is an enterprise content management and digital experience platform. Unlike a framework such as React, it's a complete system: content editing, marketing automation, personalisation, forms and — with Xperience by Kentico — ecommerce, all built in and managed from one admin interface.
It's designed so marketing and content teams can run a website day to day without relying on a developer for every change, while still giving engineering teams a structured, extensible platform underneath. That combination is why it's a common choice for larger organisations that need both editorial independence and enterprise-grade control.
The technology
What Kentico is good for
Kentico earns its place where a marketing team needs to self-serve content, and the business needs a platform that scales with it.
Marketing teams who need to self-serve
Content, landing pages, forms and campaigns can be built and published without developer involvement, freeing up engineering time for higher-value work.
Personalisation and marketing automation
Built-in tools for audience segmentation, email automation and on-site personalisation, without bolting on separate platforms.
Ecommerce, when you need it
Xperience by Kentico supports online stores natively, so content and commerce sit in the same platform rather than two systems that need to be kept in sync.
CRM and systems integration
Kentico integrates cleanly with CRM platforms and other enterprise systems, so customer data stays connected across the business, not siloed in the CMS.
Member areas and self-service portals
Login-gated content, forums, learning content and account management can all be built natively for organisations that need more than a public-facing site.
A platform that scales with the business
From a single brochure site to multi-region, multilingual platforms, Kentico is built to grow without a re-platform every few years.
Why GRM Digital builds with Kentico
We're an accredited Kentico Xperience partner, and it's one of the platforms we recommend most often for organisations where marketing needs genuine editorial control — not just the ability to swap out an image, but to build pages, run campaigns and personalise content without waiting on a developer.
Because Kentico handles content, marketing and often commerce in one system, it also reduces the number of moving parts a client's team has to manage. That matters for the enterprise clients we work with, where a fragmented stack of separate tools usually means more integration risk and more places for things to break.
We've used Kentico across ecommerce rebuilds, membership portals, CRM-integrated marketing sites and multilingual platforms — so when we recommend it, it's based on having actually built and supported it at that scale, not just implemented it once.
