ReactJS

GRM Digital builds enterprise web experiences with React. See why we choose it, what it's good for, and the projects we've delivered with it.

What is React?

ReactJS is a JavaScript library, originally built by Meta, for building user interfaces out of small, reusable components. Instead of writing a page as one long block of markup, developers break it into self-contained pieces — a search bar, a product card, a checkout step — each one managing its own logic and state.

Those components can be combined, reused and updated independently, which is what makes React so well suited to large, ever-changing websites and applications. It's also one of the most widely adopted front-end technologies in the world, backed by a mature ecosystem of tools, frameworks and an enormous talent pool — which matters when a platform needs to be supported for years, not just launched and forgotten.

The technology

What React is good for

React isn't the right fit for every project, but it excels where interfaces need to be fast, complex, or built to scale.

01

Complex, stateful interfaces

Dashboards, configurators, booking flows and account areas where lots of things update on screen at once, without a full page reload.

02

Performance at scale

React updates only the parts of the page that change, keeping high-traffic sites and apps fast and responsive under load.

03

Composable, reusable components

UI is built once and reused across a site or product family, so design systems stay consistent and new features ship faster.

04

Works hand-in-hand with headless CMS

React's component model pairs naturally with platforms like Kontent.ai, Contentful and Sitecore, powering the composable architectures we build.

05

SEO-friendly when built right

Paired with frameworks like Next.js, React can render on the server, so pages stay fast, crawlable and search-friendly.

06

A deep, long-term talent pool

React is one of the most in-demand front-end skills globally, which means your platform is easier to support, extend and hire for long after launch.

Why GRM Digital builds with React

We work with enterprise organisations whose websites and platforms have to do a lot: integrate with a headless CMS, support marketing and product teams independently, handle real traffic, and evolve constantly without a costly rebuild every few years. React consistently gives us the best combination of performance, flexibility and longevity for that kind of work.

Because we build in a composable, headless-first way, React's component architecture fits naturally alongside the CMS platforms we're accredited partners for. It lets our front-end and content teams work independently of each other, so changes on one side don't hold up the other.

It also means what we build for one client can inform the next. A well-built component library isn't a one-off — it's reusable across a client's own products, and it means our team can move faster without cutting corners on quality.
